Britain at risk of serious social unrest, report warns

Bouts of social upheaval are set to disrupt economies and topple governments around the globe over the next two years, the Economist Intelligence Unit warned.

Britain is at “moderate risk” of the protests with “far from a clean bill of health”, the study said, in contrast to previous years when western European states were almost automatically rated at “low risk”.

Alas, I’m afraid I see this for the U.S. as well. There are several factors that will contribute to this, such as the state of education in this country, the weak & malleable mind of a certain percentage of the population by the media (i.e., they are very susceptible to being told what & how to feel on certain subjects) and the actions and course being pursued by the present administration & congress. The next few years look to be quite dangerous and I do not believe we have the strong leadership this country needs to see us through the hard times ahead. I pray that there will be no troubles but our Lord told us troubles would come.

Just look at the left-wing groups that are picketing AIG and other exec’s homes as of late and you’ll see the larva-stage of unrest here.

#2. Shouldn’t “The People” left and right also be taking out their justifiable rage on the federal government whose policies encouraged and made possible the actions of these “wreckers and economic saboteurs” and a federal government that is now very rapidly turning America into a second rate socialist regime and a bankrupt one at that.

Ideally, I’d say yes, TGS, but I’m not sure that is permitted under this site’s rather puzzling rules.

Oh, and Elves, if you think I’m making a baseless charge, look HERE. Is this or is this not a case of “we know where you live?”
